For news aggregators, trading and sports channels, speed is everything: whoever publishes first gets read. Telegram normally pushes new messages on its own, but for large channels this isn’t always instant — which slows down any Telegram auto forward setup.

Where the delay comes from #

Telegram doesn’t send every message of every large channel to all subscribers at once. A client that doesn’t have the channel open on screen may get a post with a delay — sometimes a few seconds, sometimes more. The official apps solve this as follows: when you open a channel, the app starts actively requesting new messages.

How turbo receive works #

Turbo receive does for a source what the app does for an open channel: the account constantly “watches” the channel and requests new messages every half second. Posts arrive almost immediately after publication, and then CopyPost’s regular delivery mechanism carries them over to your channels.

You don’t need to turn anything on: your own Telegram account automatically keeps the channels it reads in turbo mode — up to 10 per account. If there are more channels, mark your most important sources with “Turbo priority” in the pipeline editor — they’re guaranteed to be among those 10.

Limitations #

  • It works for channels and supergroups read by your own Telegram account. Bots can’t do this — but Telegram delivers posts from channels where a bot is an administrator to it right away.
  • One account can keep up to 10 channels in turbo mode — this is a Telegram limit. Need more? Connect another account for reading.

How much it costs #

Nothing. Speed in CopyPost is the same on every plan, including the free one: turbo receive and media processing without a queue are available to everyone.

When you really need it #

  • news feeds and aggregators;
  • signals, quotes, match results;
  • competitor monitoring, where reacting first matters.

For archive and entertainment channels, the regular mode is enough.
