Auto-posting means new messages from one channel automatically appear in another. This is how people run channel mirrors, build news feeds from several sources, duplicate posts to a backup channel or move content into a discussion group. In this guide we’ll set up Telegram auto forward from channel to channel from scratch.

What you’ll need #

  • A Telegram account that can see the source channel: it’s subscribed to it or is a member of the chat.
  • A recipient channel or group where the same account or another one of yours can post.
  • Five minutes.

If a bot posts to the recipient channel, make it an administrator with permission to post messages.

Step 1. Sign in to the panel #

Open the CopyPost panel and click “Open Telegram”, then “Start”. The bot will show which browser and website the sign-in started from — tap “Log in”, and the panel will open by itself. That’s all there is to registration: no password needed, and the confirmation in Telegram guarantees that it’s really you signing in to the panel.

Step 2. Connect an account #

In the Accounts section, click “Add account”. There are three ways:

  1. QR code — the fastest. Open Telegram on your phone: Settings → Devices → Link Desktop Device — and point the camera at the code in the panel.
  2. Phone number — Telegram will send a code to the app or by SMS. If Two-Step Verification is on, the panel will ask for your cloud password.
  3. Bot — paste the token from @BotFather. A bot doesn’t need a phone, but it only sees the chats it has been added to.

After signing in, open the account’s “Chats”: a user account loads all its dialogs automatically, while for a bot you can specify a channel by @username or link.

Step 3. Create a pipeline #

A pipeline is a “from → to” rule. In the Pipelines section, click “Create pipeline”:

  • under Sources, choose the account and the channel to read;
  • under Recipients, choose the account and the channel to post to;
  • “Copy” mode publishes the message on behalf of your channel, without the “Forwarded from” label; “Forward” mode keeps the label with the author.

Click “Save” — the pipeline starts working right away, no restarts needed.

What happens to messages #

CopyPost preserves formatting, links, albums, polls and locations. If nothing is changed, the message is copied instantly by Telegram itself — the files aren’t even downloaded. If the recipient account can’t see the source, the file is carefully re-uploaded on its behalf.

FAQ #

How much does it cost? Pipelines are free and unlimited. You can connect three accounts for free, then add packs of three accounts.

Can I read several channels into one? Yes: add several sources to one pipeline. If several of your accounts read the same channel, duplicates are filtered out automatically.

What if the channels forward to each other? CopyPost remembers its own posts and won’t send them around in a loop.
