Scenario · news aggregator
Dozens of channels — one feed
A story comes out in one of twenty sources — and almost at once it's already in your channel, because CopyPost checks the sources every half second. Your filters screen out ads and posts forwarded from other channels, and the same post never goes out twice, so there's no more sitting there copying posts by hand.
- Every 0.5 seconds — that's how often turbo receive checks the sources, on any plan
- 3 accounts free — enough for a feed of 20 sources
- Up to 512 sources in one pipeline — a “sources → your channel” link with its settings (and you can have as many pipelines as you like, all of them free)
How many accounts you need
20 sources — and still free
Other people's channels are read by an ordinary Telegram account — a bot only sees channels where it's an admin, so there's no way around an ordinary account here. With turbo receive, one account polls up to 10 channels every half second, so 20 sources need two such readers.
And a bot you've made an admin publishes to your channel. That's three accounts (in CopyPost a bot counts as an account too), and exactly three are free (with the same speed as on the paid plans). It's better to set up separate accounts for reading — don't connect your personal one.
More than twenty sources — add reading accounts: 3 more cost 231 Telegram Stars (about $3) for 30 days.

Albums
An album goes out whole, even if a photo is a little late
To Telegram, an album is several separate messages, and the last photo sometimes arrives later than the rest. CopyPost waits a little (up to three seconds) for all the parts to gather and publishes one album, as in the source. And if some part is held up even longer, it goes out right after as a separate post — nothing gets published twice.
And if the post doesn't need changing and the publishing account can see the source channel, Telegram copies the post itself — the files aren't downloaded anywhere, and even a heavy video doesn't hold up the feed.

Dropped connections
The connection dropped — but the posts are all there
Sometimes the connection drops or CopyPost restarts. Once it's back up, it picks up by itself everything that came out in the sources in the meantime and puts it in the feed — and what was already published won't come a second time.

12No repeats: posts 1 and 2 were already in the feed, so they don't go out a second time.
- A crash doesn't lose postsA post is first written to disk and only after that counts as received.
- One copyEven if two of your accounts read the same source, the post is still copied once.
- The limit is an hourIf the connection was down for more than an hour, posts that came out more than an hour ago are no longer published, so the feed doesn't get buried in old news.
And also
The feed behaves like an ordinary channel
Edits follow
The source edited a post, deleted it or pinned it — the feed does the same. Only in Forward mode (when a post arrives with the “Forwarded from” label) are edits not carried over (and t.me links aren't swapped for your copies either): Telegram doesn't let anyone change a forwarded message.
Links lead to you
If a post replies to another post of the source or links to it via t.me, the reply and the link will lead to your copy.
No one else's sign-offs
The “Follow @source” line can be cut with a text replacement, and the post's formatting won't break.
Your own rules
Up to 64 regular expressions (patterns for searching text) per pipeline — for example, to screen out giveaways that say “subscribe to the channel”. There are examples in the breakdown of ad filters.
A feed for your site too
Every news item can be sent by webhook (an automatic request) to your server, say, to show it on your website. The request comes with a signature that lets the server check it's from CopyPost, and if something fails, the delivery is retried.
You can see what's going on
If something breaks, the error shows right on the pipeline, written in plain language, and the delivery log is kept for 3 days. And if a connected account gets logged out, the CopyPost service bot will message you.
Build your own feed
Connect a reading account by QR code, add sources and filters — and from then on the feed builds itself. The free plan has 3 accounts and turbo receive, so you won't have to pay for your first twenty sources.
